Dhalavarai Nature & Tradition ("we", "us", "our") sells homemade, small-batch natural products — honey, coffee, sundry chips, and jams — sourced from hill communities in Tamil Nadu. This Privacy Policy applies to this website and covers only what is genuinely collected here: there are no user accounts, no online payments, and no data sold to anyone. Orders are placed and confirmed over WhatsApp, not through this site directly.

1. Information we collect

We keep this deliberately minimal:

• Name and phone number — only when you fill the cart form to place an order. This is used to identify you and confirm the order on WhatsApp.
• Your cart contents — the products and quantities you add, kept in your browser only, so your selections survive if you close and reopen the site.
• Basic technical data — standard web server logs (such as IP address and browser type) generated automatically by hosting infrastructure, used only for security and troubleshooting.

We do not ask for or store passwords, payment card details, or government ID numbers anywhere on this site.

2. How we use your information

• To pre-fill and send your order message when you tap "Order on WhatsApp".
• To confirm your order, quantities, final pricing, and delivery details with you directly over WhatsApp or phone.
• To respond to questions you send us through the Contact section, email, or WhatsApp.
• To remember your name and phone number in your own browser so you don't have to retype them on your next visit.

We never use your name or phone number for marketing calls or messages you haven't asked for.

3. Ordering on WhatsApp

When you confirm an order, this site opens WhatsApp with a pre-written message containing your name, phone number, and order summary. Sending that message is your choice — nothing is transmitted to us until you press send inside WhatsApp.

From that point, the conversation happens on WhatsApp's platform and is covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy and terms, which we don't control. We only see what you choose to send us in that chat.

4. Where your data lives

Your name, phone number, and cart are saved using your browser's local storage — a small amount of data kept on your own device, not on our servers. It stays private to the browser you used, is never automatically shared with us, and disappears if you clear your browser's site data.

The only record we keep of your order is the WhatsApp conversation itself, on the WhatsApp number you messaged.

5. Cookies & local storage

This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It uses your browser's local storage purely for convenience — remembering your cart, and your name/phone for the order form. You can clear this at any time through your browser's settings without affecting your ability to browse or order.

6. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of external services to run this site:

• Google Fonts — used to load the typefaces on this page.
• WhatsApp — used to receive and confirm your order once you send the pre-filled message.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

7. Children's privacy

Our products and this site are intended for adults placing household food orders. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the order form is not designed for use by minors.

8. Your choices & rights

• Clear your saved name, phone number, and cart at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
• Ask us over WhatsApp or email to delete a past order conversation from our records.
• Ask us what information we hold about you — for most visitors, this is limited to whatever you sent us in a WhatsApp chat.
